first things first
I like cities at dawn, people who recycle, and long runs in cool weather. And the oxford comma.
I'm a seasoned creative with 10+ years experience in the ad world. I've worked at agencies big and small, traditional and digital, independent and otherwise. I've done a little bit of everything, and I've liked it all.
Currently: Writer at The Richards Group
I'm the lead writer on various Dr Pepper Snapple Group brands, including Dr Pepper, 7UP, and A&W Root Beer. I concept and produce engaging, breakthrough campaigns, and manage junior teams on day-to-day deliverables. Fluent in new business, client presentations, budgets of all sizes, and the ever-changing social landscape.
Senior Copywriter @ SapientNitro ('12-'15)
I worked on Dunkin' Donuts, connecting with Millennials through content-heavy social campaigns, helped LensCrafters change the way people shop for glasses by creating an award-winning digital, in-store mirror, and launched an integrated campaign for the rebranded Webster Bank.
Copywriter @ Arnold ('11-'12)
From integrated campaigns to social media and TV, my days were spent with Flo, the Progressive girl. We gave Flo a bigger online presence.
Copywriter @ The Richards Group ('06-'11)
In 2006, I moved from San Francisco to Dallas. I questioned it, but it turned out to be a great opportunity because I got introduced to queso. Also, I recorded radio with Tom Bodett for Motel 6, wrote for a dairy's sassy spokescow, and produced plenty of TV for one of Texas' best-loved grocery stores. When you have NBA stars selling generic laundry detergent, you know you've made it.

I used to renovate our 100+ year-old fixer in my spare time. And in my spare spare time, I used to write all about it.
